About Sean
Guitarist. Singer-songwriter. Performer. A lifetime built around music.
A life in music
Sean Donley is a Burlington, Ontario-based singer-songwriter and session guitarist whose musical roots span rock, country, bluegrass and Canadiana.
Sean first picked up a guitar at age ten. What began as an early passion grew into years of study with guitar instructors across the Greater Toronto Area. At twenty, he moved to Los Angeles to attend Musicians Institute, where he studied with accomplished guitarists including Dan Gilbert and Al Bonhomme.
That dedication to the craft continues to shape his work as a performer, musician and songwriter.
On stage and in the studio
Sean has performed at venues across Canada, including Nashville Takeover. Alongside performing and session guitar work, he has shared his experience with developing musicians through programs including Interprovincial Music Camp and Guitar Workshop Plus.
With the release of his debut single, Live Down the Name, Sean opens a new chapter: sharing his own songs with a wider audience.
